soooo evil...i luv it
but of all the warlock tricks i like your ability to summon a buddy to your locale...i just wish blizzard would create some kind of funny animation for the trip, or make the toon puke when he got to the other side!
"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!" ... he says while calling down Rain of Fire...
LOL, that's great. I've always wished on my main (60 Mage, Human) that I could /dance while casting Blizzard. It'd be hillarious to disco while it's blizzarding ;D
I've a warlock, and while I enjoy the class I find it's one that I don't play often. Not too sure why. Perhaps it's too similar to my mage, or maybe I just don't like having a pet...
60 Warrior (H), 70 Shaman (H), 70 Mage (A), 70 Rogue (A), 7 Priest (A). I play every class. I *had* too much time on my hands... Feel free to ask for advice. If needed, I am willing to use my Alliance characters to help with non-instance quests. Just let me know.
I just respecced tonight with the purpose of being able to do a bit more burst damage. I'm still mostly affliction specced though.
I dropped Curse of Exhaustion entirely, I never use it, as well as Improved Drain Soul, Improved Voidwalker, and Grim Reach. Improved Drain Soul was just not enough to make a difference. Imp. VW was nice while I was soloing or partied with Stomp, but otherwise that +30% threat generated just doesn't help that much. Grim Reach was nice, but not imperative. In exchange I now have Improved Shadowbolt, Bane, Shadowburn, and I have maxed out Suppression. The first two were just to meet the prerequisites for the third. Instant cast shadow damage for the win! Suppression is just nice to have, -2% chance for enemies to resist my affliction spells per rank, now at 5 ranks instead of 2.
The first two tiers of Descrutction SUCK IMO. But I cannot imagine a life without shadowburn. That and instant corruption and chance to avoid interuption of drain life. Those rock too!
Yeah, I ended up dropping CoEx a long time ago. It just didnt work well enough to justify the points.
Whoever appeals to the law against their fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, “If I live, I WILL KILL YOU. If I die, you are forgiven”. Such is the rule of honor.
The one think that Warlocks have over mages: orcs can be warlocks and not mages. See an orc run around is a very fun thing to see, not funny as such, but fun. If I knew more about all of the warlock abilites, I might have made Ipit an orcish warlock, but I choose mage and will stick by this decisiion.
Imporved Corruption 5/5 Improved Drain Life 5/5 Fel Concentration 5/5 Improved Drain Mana
I was looking into warlocks after I realized I'm going to have to repsec my mage, seeing as arcane missiles (my bread and butter with my currenet build) has a horrible tendancy of just not working, and costing me a lot of mana in the process too.
