The guild has around 25 Dark Iron Bars atm. Im thinking the best thing we could do is make the DI gear that doesnt take cores for Rayfrost and Cherry first. Zrog can make them all the non-core pieces allrdy i think.
The onyl one that isnt BoE is the Dark Iron Breastplate.
Any suggestions?

I think all MC warriors should have the Dark Iron Shoulders, because they are easy to make, have high armor, and +10 FR.
You have to be an armorsmith to wear Dark Iron Plate, because it's BOP when made.
Rayfrost is most likely getting the next Dark Iron Helm, and we'll make him our FR-related OT, and backup MT for Geddon and (eventually) Rag and Onyxia. The Helm takes 4 Dark Iron Bars, 4 Lava Cores, and 2 Fiery Cores. I think I have enough Lava to make a second helm, now.
The shoulders take 10 bars, and the Breastplate takes 20 (but no cores for either).

I have some Dark Iron Ore, but I need to take Prune to BRD to learn how to smelt them.
edit: Actually, maybe I should take Jak instead, because she can stealth through BRD. What do I need to brind to BRD with me? Also, where do I go?

Prune,
You need to get to the Chamber of Seven, which is past the bar, and just before Attunement. Talk to Gloom'rel, and then click on the brazier that appears next to him to do the turn-in.
You need to bring 20 x gold bar, 10 x truesilver bars, and 2 x star rubies.
Note that you need 8 x Dark Iron Ore to make ONE (1) Dark Iron Bar.
I don't think you can sneak to the Dark Iron Forge... there's a Fire Elemental standing RIGHT in front of it, AND you'd have to kill everyone in the Chamber of 7 to get the door to open.

Thanks for the info, Zrog. I suppose Jak won't be stealth-smelting anytime soon. Unless Stomp, Mcg, and I can handle it. I'm pretty confident that group can handle anything, heh. As long as there aren't dogs...

Nice. there's an article at worldofroguecraft.com about how to solo run for the Barman Shanker, if you want to try to get that by yourself. I'm going into the field tomorrow for a double shift, from the 14-28, so I won't be around for a while.

What crafted FR gear does Rayfrost not have yet? I think we should focus on getting him all the FR we can, so that by specializing we can have backup tanks without having to heavily equip anyone all the way up.
I suggest that we use Cherrycoke or another warrior to max his +def gear... although Cherry is a little new to L60 to be tanking MC.

Specializing having Rayfrost as a FR tank...that sounds good to me. And then gear up zrog and cherry to be the normal tanks with all the +def.
I like it.

Cherry,
Can you post your tanking stats here sometime?
- Total Hp, unbuffed (or buffed, and show buffs) - Total armor, unbuffed - Total defense - Total dodge/parry/block (found by mouseover from your skill screen, "P")
You should have around 4500 hp, 7000 armor, 350 def, and 12% dodge/parry/block unbuffed to tank MC. That's what I started at.
You should aim for 5000 hp, 8000 armor, 380 def... which is with the best non-raid gear that you can get from normal instances. Zrog does not have this much, but Barium does, and Darkkness is close.

Cherry,
That's close enough... I don't need much more stat-wise than that. The rest was just me being curious.
It sounds like your gear is about the same as mine when I started MT'ing Molten Core.

It means that if we need a backup MC tank, I'll consider you as adequately geared. Your attendance could be better, though.
It also means: start working on your FR gear. There's a link under the "Gear" section that has links for all classes. Surprising but true: even without Dark Iron items, you can get quite a bit of FR built up.
I think Shanthis or Mogrim is getting the next Dark Iron Helm...
