would anyone be interested in createing organized PVP runs for rep and rewards? i am always amazed at how well PVP can go with totally random teams, if we as a guild, enter PVP and have organized stratagy we would be much harder to take down. thus allowing us to win more games get more kills and get more honor.
AB for example is very dependent on stratagy to win, so a group of people who know each other and have specific rolls will almost always come out on top.
i think this would be great fun for the guild as well as a great help. organizing strategies for PVP would help us work better as a group in end-game instances as well as helping each member of the guild get better gear, the PVP gear is some of he best in the game. also a big insentive of PVP is the 100% mount at a much cheaper price of 90g the PVP mount also looks quite cool.
i just wanted to get some ideas out there concerning guild PVP. maybe one or two organized PVP runs a week so as not to interfere with our regular instance runs.
anyway thanks for reading - Exmodel

hola, just a bit of advice from an old crank
the pvp rewards can save u tons of money i am currently upgrading all of my armor (mostly ah acquired) with pvp armor
i just upgraded my boots which i spent 100g on (overpaid, but what the hell...) for like 3g you can buy the complete champion armor set for about 30g
when u hit 60 u might want to think of pvp gear as a starter set, just takes a few weeks and there is almost always some bg up to participate in
wish i had gone pvp right after 60 instead of farming sm for the loot to buy expensive armor that im now replacing
good luck

I would love to start playing in more BG with some guildies. I have only ran 7 since hitting 60, but was very suprised at how well I did. I thought I would get blown out of the water by all of these 'lites' that have been doing it forever. Wasnt the case. And even those few games got me a bunch of honor. And Rotten is right. The champion set is nice and cheap. If you get there, and realize you are still just wearing one green item, you can upgrade to a blue on the spot for next to nothing. And heck, most of the warlock champion set is better than the dreadmist set, IMO. In short, I want to start PVPing much more, and would enjoy it even more if it were with guildies (or ex guildies )

for those of you doing pvp, a small tip:
from the many arathi basin i have run a small light was shed yesterday. horde has a definite advantage when running farm, bs, then st NOTE: skip lm, mine: they always send a large group to one of the two
the alliance has a longer route to the bridge for bs leave a warrior defend solo to play defense at farm, make sure he understands to stay in bezerker mode so he cant be sapped. also helps if the warrior at the farm hits the random spawn critters to get his rage up
my groups got rolled all nite except for when we used this stradegy...bad night with a silver lining
ive seen taurentino in ab, never says a word never listen to kosmo = idiot

Beefshades, one of the worst guys in AB, imo. . dude spouts orders that don't make sense, tells too many to D while you are losing and need to O, and tells people they are stupid. Dude does not deserve to be ranked so high.
Sorry for sucking last night in AB, Rotten.

i think last night was the worst night ever for the horde that ive been a part of i looked at your numbers, i thought you did well you were typically 2-1 kill to deaths, not bad
another person not to listen too: siete he is such a defeatist, doesnt think we can win, that we are always outgeared, and that no one listens to him....i told him in rotten fashion:
kill yourself and shaddap we need strad, not stupid
he left the battle 20 secs later
as an example that ranking means nada when trying to determine the strength of your opponent i fought vink (ranked 4th) and beat him; no buffs, no help, 100% help that must have shocked the hell out of him
power to the horde

Thats strange about Beefshades. I knew him from back when his name was beefcurtian (Blizz made him change it).
I havent played a BG with him since lvl 30's, but then in WSG, he was always the leader, and a good one too! Never lost a game with him in it. But I guess times change.

I've never won an AB with him in it at 60. He doesn't shut up, even if he's not leader. Thank god people mostly ignore him now.

seems wsg was resurrected this weekend and a lot of guys forgot the nuances of stradegy there so here is what i remember:
to ninja their flag: from our base run along the right-hand side amongst the foilage as this will release you close to the topside entrace
to return the flag: from their base run along the left-hand side amongst the foilage until you emerge from the foilage but try to take the tunnel instead of the top side entrance as this will cause them to lose their mount, plus there is a powerup in the tunnel
u cant mount when you have the flag, will cause you to drop it
if possible have a druid carry the flag with multiple warriors protecting, use fear bombs
stock swiftness potions
good luck

let me know if you guys want to organize for av quests, its the easiest way to raise your rep with frostwolf
in about 3 hrs of playtime in av i can raise my rep about 800-1000 pts just by time passed bonus (5 rep about every 5 min) and drops from players/mobs
the quests give a lot of rep points and dont need that many ppl to do (usually minimum 3)
unfortunately, av rewards are only good at exalted problably the most interesting reward is the ability of any class to purchase an epic mount (wolf) without having to raise your rep with ogrimmar
if u would like to do this let me know and i will pst u whenever i see av up

I love PvP so I'm down with organized Guild PvP. From what i can tell I'm either good at PvP or the people i fight suck. I owned this 51 Hunter at 48 several times. I almost always own paladins. I beat a 30 Mage when I was 24. Weather it was luck or skill I would like to think it was skill. The only person that can beat me frequently is Malexandra but his spec makes him basically immune to fear, and he can dispel Seduce with Will of the forsaken.
I'm also up for Organized City Raids if we wanna do some. anyone else interested?

Ok. We have to do this. I couldn't sleep so I figured I'd get up and play a bit. I queued for AB, got in, and lo and behold, was immediately asked to join Unsung Legend's ventrilo server. We rocked 'em. Won the first game 2000-20. Won all the games i played with them.
We don't even really need to organize it, so much as some of us go in at the same time and invite others to join the TS server. If what just happened for me is any indication it should work.
It also was an excellent time to test my spec. I was guarding BS alone. A NE rogue *got the drop on me*. I kicked her ass.
