Not that there was any problem with Mal's rules, but here is a bulleted list: - Above all else, active players recieve more attention in all matters than inactive (or rarely active) members.
- No begging. Looking/asking for mats for tradeskilling is fine, as that is at least part of the purpose of a guild. Don't beg for money. Period. Either from within the guild or outside it.
- If a member asks for help while you're online, if it is at all reasonable to do so, help them. Again, I hope for the purpose of this guild to be to help lower level toons gain the levels and skills they need to be useful in higher level instances. Partying with people will let you see how they play, and try to correct mistakes they might be making. (LEEEEEROY JEEEEENKINS)
- Try to maintain at least a modicum of maturity in the guild chat. Going "hee hee, boobies" every now and then is fine. Talking at length about playing bum darts is not.
- You can dance if you want to.
- Only guild members will be permitted to register an account on these message boards. Apologies to others, but recent events warrant this. Exceptions will be made on a person by person basis.
- Gold, item, and account buying are all extremely frownd upon by this guild. Guild members discovered doing so will have this viewed as grounds for immediate dismissal and blacklisting. Non-guildies risk addition to our blacklist.
Further updates as event warrant. I hope to post requirements for attaining specific ranks as well, so that it is no longer just up to our random whims.

Good use of the word 'Currenter'.
I think we should all do what we can to make sure these stay the 'Currentest' as well. This will help avoid confusion.

I thought it was a good use of the words "bum darts", too.

Yes, the phrase "bum darts" was good too.
Its like people are getting gooder and gooder at using, like, the bestest words for the situation.
Grats!

The cuttenter rules are the bestest, and mal butting in with the random hehehe bumdarts was unexpected but a good laugh. I have been helped a lot during my 30 levels with this guild, I apreciate the help and I lookforward to being able to pay it forward to the newer recruits.
PS boobies

how about this for a new rule:
if u have something stupid or offensive or ignorant to say:
STFU
the level of immature, nonsensical, idiotic, utterly mindless, ceaseless banter that some of u engage in is just painful to see scrolling by....
teamspeak is worse, guild groupings on ts reinforce my thought that this is not the same, good chemistry, core of mature friends that i signed on with
gee...what am i talking about? still dont get it? then u just might be part of the problem...or is it just me? in that case im leaving the guild
some of u i will keep on my buddy list but i respectfully ask for some space
good luck to u all

Wow. I dont know what to say. I can assume I would be included in this group, as I seem to have that reputation, considering I got reported to GM for having a inappropriate conversation about dogs when I was offline and fast asleep.
And if I am not, well I am glad you dont think I am "utterly mindless". But I still have this to say regardless:
Sometimes you need to tell people when they are bothering you. People dont always know when they're being nonsensical or idiotic. Simply send a tell saying "STFU NOOB". Hell make a macro out of it and spam that puppy. Just dont sit there and let all of this build up without saying anything until its to late.
And if its not too late for apologies, I am sorry for any and all of the times I was in the crowd of mindless idiots. It was never my intention to piss anyone off.

Lets see, what're the odds that I'm a part of this? I'd say somewhere around 1:1. Sorry Rotten, we're all just goofing around and having a good time, and hoenstly, I for one didn't realise that it was causing anyone (too muich) aggravation.
I'd hate to see you leave the guild, you're a pretty handy warrior to have around, both in AB and in instances, not to mention you seem to be a decent guy. I know I have a reputation for driving people crazy around here, but I thought it was only those I was really trying to drive crazy, and you aren't on that list.
I'll be honest, I never saw this coming. Its like Aph said, speak up. We could have averted some almost serious guild drama this weekend if people had done just that. Instead, we had someone leave becaue he thought someone rolled need on an item then disenchanted it. If he'd looked closer, he would have seen that the guy was wearing that item, and had DE'd something else. A lot can be averted if you bring it out into the open instead of reacting spontaneously.
Anyway man, you've been good to have around, and I think its safe to say we all hope you stick around. If you can't do that, well, so be it, but I'll still run instances and/ or BG with you any day.

Rotten my good buddy,
I know about a week or two ago we were talking in general about this kinda thing so it seems like this is not just a rash decision.
One big thing I like in Tainted is the no cussing rule. I mean I cuss and all but usually not around people I don't know personally.
Here is why:
My brother and some other folks have young kids of there own that like to watch and listen while playing> He told me of a few times where he had to cover his son's ears because of the stuff that was being said on teamspeak. He also said thank god he cannot read yet.
I guess what I am getting at is we can turn the profanity filter on the game but not on teamspeak and why flame someone when Mal, Rotten and I can flame everyone for not playing this game as long as us.
I just think we need to be more friendly to each other. Just imagine if a girl was listening to this stuff she would probably puke.
So let's try to quit with the gay references and vulgar comments, I know for a fact from talking to a few that it does get below their skin. This is supposed to be a fun place to hang out, not a flamefest.
I am not trying to be your daddy but sometimes common sense while playing with other's needs to be in place.

Rotten ill tell you right now that im gunna stop saying some of the stuff i got into a habbit talking about. I never realized it was bothering anyone at all which i think is why it became a habbit. I dont want you to leave, your the guy who was helping my get my spider ichor in Hillsbrad 5 min after i joined the guild. Your a good guy rotten and I'm thiking now it will be a realy good idea to cahnge the langauge in the guild, ill start with mine, and ill help watch it so it will slow down at the least. Id rather put the work into changeing how the guild talks then lose yah, too too big of a part of this guild for me to let that happen.

Well here is more of my two cents Flames are not a major problem. I dont think me telling Mcg, or Stomp, or Mal that they are idiots matters. All of this is going on between friends, and people who we know are cool like that. I dont pick out a random person who just joined and call them a name. As for cursing, I think its all in context. If something bad just happened, letting the S-word slip isnt a big deal. But if people are going into minute details about vulgar situations, then yes, its IS a big deal. Its all situational, so I think a NO CURSING rule is pointless. I know for a fact over just the past few weeks I have stopped serveral conversations about some pretty horrific stuff that others were having, as they were even bothering me. BUT THATS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO. Stand up. Tell them. I hate to be blunt here, but dont sit there and wish that they werent saying that stuff. Do something. Rotten, you have more of a right to call something like this off than just about anyone in the guild, because as Smushy put, you guys have been playing forever. If they have been listening to me when I tell them to shut it (which I guess is only half true, cause they put up a stink when I say that) then they will listen to you for sure.
