Just looked into it Fire. The nerfs to the felguard you've been talking about are already live. For some reason a lot of people seem to think they aren't, but they are, so I've got nothing to worry about. I also shudder to think about what the felguard must've been like before he was nerfed...

I made a post about this on the Warrior forums, I was told that they are nerfing the Black Book. That makes me interested to see if I can beat the Felguard without you using a Black Book.

they already nerfed the felguard? that's scary.
We had an LBRS group going the other day with my 55 Beast Mastery hunter, benjo's 57 warlock with Felguard, and Palladium with entirely broken gear (basically running naked). We still had more DPS than I've ever seen in there. The felguard was definitely a badass.

Don't see how the felguard already nerfed is fair. You don't see any other classes being as broken as the locks.  |

So, one class, if the lock isn't paying attention can kick their arse. If a lock is careful then it'd get in at the dead range and kick the hunters arse there. That's how any class should deal with a hunter.

According to the patch notes I received today, felguards now do less melee damage. When the realms are back up could someone confirm that for me, please?

Super delayed response, and she doesn't even chacked the forums anymore.. but..
Scatter shot has no dead range, so you're getting scatter/stun/silenced locked anyway.

Oh, as for Ipit's post. That was the nerf everyone was talking about, and has been live for a long time already. Felguard's actual performance is unchanged from 2.0.3 to 2.0.5, same deal with the "change" to Soul Link, it was already live.
