So, I think maybe I'll start one o' these fancy activity log threads too, maybe it'll encourage me to play more.
Headed back over to Revantusk tonight, was going to try to finish up Jintha'Alor with Zrog and some people he had teamed up with, but the group disbanded before we got into it. I decided I'd try to clue up the plethora of grind quests in the area and headed off. In the process of killing the requisite 60 high elves for a quest I teamed up with a orc warrior and a tauren shaman, making the non-elite foes pretty much a joke. We started an escort quest there and were happily leading a troll to safety when a human paladin decided to wander by and kill him, so we ganked the human (HK: Sergeant), since attacking our charge flagged him, and went back to wait for the troll to respawn. We started escorting again, and wouldn't you know it? The paladin came back for more. Asshole. So we lay waste to him again. (running away from a warlock is tricky business, considering 60% of my regular combat spells are instant cast, I don't even have to break stride) He didn't show up for our third try at escorting the troll out, then we mopped up the elves, mopped up a few vilebranch trolls, claimed our quests, then I logged.
Results: Two honourable kills, six blocks of exp, and about 10 gold.

I like hearing about "laying waste" to Paladins. They are so annoying, sitting behind their smugs shields and calling for their friends to gank you as they wallow in their holy bubble of righteousness!
... I'm still annoyed at that one Pally that taunted me until I decided to PVP him, and then his hidden friend (higher level) came out and helped him gank me. Bastard.

Tried out battlegrounds for the first time, was having some pretty good fun with capture the flag type action. But then a gnome had to ruin it. There is a place just to the left of the main entrance to the alliance base, near the graveyard. If you follow the wall back, there is a tree root, or branch or whataver. Inside this root is a terrain glitch, into which a gnome can fit and be completely unseen unless you stick your face into the tree. So, when we captured each other's flags and had to get ours back before we could get a capture point for theirs, guess where their flag carrier went? Standing in this root he could not be targetted by clicking on him, since he couldn't be seen, and even if you ran right up to him, he was "too far away" for melee. Anyway, after about 30 minutes of this, the horde team all just quit at the same time, and we all filed GM tickets about it, mentioning both the terrain glitch, and that the gnome "biggreasyman" was willfully exploiting a glitch in the game to his advantage. I got an email back saying that the matter had been looked into, and appropriate action had been taken, but due toprivacy concerns they couldn't tell me exactly what said actions were. For those of you who are curious, this is the root: He is inside it in this picture, with our flag. Were the root not there you could see him standing right in the middle of the image. Later on there was a level 20 warrior in crossroads asking to duel someone high level. So I crushed him.

Well, tonight was something of a bust.
Was going to do Maraudon with Zrog et al, disconnected twice on the way there from *Hinterlands*, then when I got there the realm servers exploded or something, most of us got booted, and one team member lost their internet connection entirely. So I went to the barrens, did a little fishing, and a guy gave me a tailoring pattern to summon him to XR.
Net result, about 1k exp, 10 points of fishing, and Pattern: Colorful Kilt

Tonight was good. Fished for a while, made some mooncloth for a dude in org for 10g, then went to Zul'Farrak. Gained five or so blocks of exp and hit level 50. Good times.

Headed to Felwood this morning and got started on my quest chain to summon an Infernal. Looks like I'm really going to need help with this. I need the drops, one from felwood, one from azshara, and one from the dark portal area. I partied with a couple of guys in the area and got my loot from felwood, I think I'll hit azshara next.

Hey Vith,
The infernal quest is not to bad, seems you have the first part, the second i got it off the first kill from dudes in azshara so no worry there. The third is those big demons right by the dark portal in blasted lands, they are pretty tough but not to bad.
Well to what i wanted to say, is the only help you should need is summoning the big infernal after you completed item, hes a 55 elite so bring some friends. If i am on with Smush, hit me up and i can help you!
Just thought i would share my 2 cents!!

Wow i like reading these little stories hehe. And jsut so u know, mooncloth sells for more then 10g, more liek around 15g. Its such hard stuff to make (that damn 4 day cooldown) that I like to make every penny i can with the stuff.

Started an alt today, Tauren druid by the name of Garivith. Further updates as events warrant.

Well, yesterday was more or less productive for me.
I played as Garivith for a little bit, got him up to level 10 and finished the Bear Form quest. Also picked up Enchanting and Herbalism. Moo.
A little later Mål, Sarg, and a non guildie named Necrid, helped me get my infernal. First it was myself and Sarg. We were reduced to a smear. Then Mål got there, and improved our situation to being reduced to flying bodyparts. Once we had Necrid, a PvP buddy of Sarg's, it was enough, and we got him. So I went to Brill to summon an inferal around all the newbies. They seemed suitably impressed, one asked me to hold him still so he could grab a screenshot. Then my control of him ran out, my enslave demon only held him for about five seconds, then he killed me, killed a town guard, then ran off over the hills...
Fun stuff!

ROFL!
"Hey, aren't I cool? Look at my Infernal... OH MY GOD, IT'S OUT OF CONTROL! RUN, YOU IDIOTS, RUN!!!"
WAHAHAHAHA!
But really, I'm happy you got your Infernal. They DO look cool...

Well, gained level 51 tonight, also played around with my infernal a bit and enslaved a couple of satyrs for fun. I managed to keep playing for about 3 hours after my prepaid game time expired, which was nice.
I'll be back next week, see you then!

I'm level 52 now, well on the way to level 53, messing about in Un'goro crater... got eaten by this thing last night: xjph.homeip.net/LotV/Vithigar/bigsaur.jpgHe has a bigger friend that wanders around too... Also, I thought this was a good shot of the Dark Portal: xjph.homeip.net/LotV/Vithigar/portal.jpgGetting the lightning bolt there was pure fluke. In other news, I was showing off for some newbs in Brill and summoned another infernal for them. This time it went even better then the first one. Eventually I lost control and it went after me, so I made a half-hearted attempt to fight it and some of the lowbies joined in! Needless to say, once it was done with me it began swatting various level 7 players like flies, it was quite the sight.
