(Replying to McG's post under "priests"...)
McG, it may not be obvious right now, but Rogues do the highest, sustained, single-target damage in the game. I would also like to point out that in the ZG runs, it was critical to have rogues using Kick up against the Bat Lady (Priestess Jellik).
I would also like to note that when we start hitting the fire-bosses, DPS warriors are going to take a bit hit to their damage when they are forced to switch to FR gear, but rogues are still going to be mostly wailing away at the same DPS rate despite having upwards of 120 FR unbuffed.
Reason: Rogues don't depend very highly on gear for DPS, nor do they depend on mana. Because of their escape skills and aggro-management abilities, they are also far more likely to survive and thus keep doing DPS throughout the fight.

Yeah, I am fully aware of our arse kicking ability, and that is a big part of the reason I enjoy being a rogue so much.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still coming along every chance I get. Just thinking out loud.

Zrog, I could not disagree more. I see rogues as being one of the most useless items in the game. They are a melee class, which clearly means it is their goal to help tank. Yet there are many problems with this. First, their abilities just dont seem to be a useful as a warriors for this. While warriors have taunt, etc (sorry I am not up on the names ) rogues always try to grab aggro by doing massive damage to a target. This seems to be ineffective, as I hardly see targets going for rogues in large parties. Also, they can only wear leather. This is simply ludicrous to think that they try to tank in leather! They are almost as squishy as casters. Can you imagine a caster trying to tank. HA! So, in summary, warriors are better tanks than rogues, therefore rogues are useless.

Already got it And the Volcanic Leggins. And the Helm of Fire. And my rogue trinket that adds 10 FR. And a chest piece with 10 FR, 10 SR, some stamina, and 50 attack power. And working on the legs and shoulders from the volcanic set. Those will add another 38. I already 55 unbuffed. Though the Volcanic shoulders may have to replace the Flamescarred Shoulders (from DM west, that Mal mentioned). Those have nice stats and 10 FR, but the volcanic have 18 FR and no stats, so we'll see. And the volcanic breastplate would have to replace my current one with nice stats. . oh well, I'll have between 55 and 75 FR unbuffed minimum next week, so we'll see.

Ok well... I've just been told that Magmadar isnt' really considered a fire boss, so I guess we'll be saving all our hard-earned FR gear for Garr...

Zrog,
Garr is not fire either, he is a rock elemental. Your first fire boss is Baron Geddon, just so you know, lol

Why can't they just stop naming bosses with "G" names?
Ok, Baron Geddon, then. Or BG, except that sounds like Battlegrounds. Blizz has gotta fire whoever has been naming these bosses.

Oh and Mcg,
I get feared all the time in MC on magmadar, sometimes it seems all i am doing is running around into big conflagurate pools. But after a few attempts its more of a controled running around and you will get the timing down on the fears. CTraid helps this out quite a bit.
With most the mobs in MC it is more about finding a rthym which takes a couple of try's then soon become trivial.
Ive looked back on a few and wondered why we ever had problems at all. Rogues are just as great if not better than hunter's mages and locks dps wise because of your lasting ability's
Hope that makes you feel a little better!
