Taking a peek at Thotbot, I listed a FR set up that can either be 1) crafted (given some MAT farming), or 2) dropped off bosses in the below 20-man raid instances. I came up with the following list:
Head: Molten Helm Neck: The Seal item that give +10 Shoulders: Flamescarred Shoulders Chest: Nightbrace Tunic Wrist: Dragonspur Wraps Gloves: Doomhide Gauntlets Waist: Lava Belt Leggings: Boots: Corehound Boots
Yea, I left out trinkets and rings. TBD later. I am just looking at the basic gear slots. The only thing is Leggings... sure arent a lot of choices for a rogue!
The volcanic at +20 FR only. The other 2 above that are healer/druid gear The top one in the sort was the NS legs which is against what Im going..gearing up FOR 40-man runs.
Any suggestions for legs pre-MC?

Oh, and yea, two of those fall off some TOUGH bosses....Dragonspur Wraps and the Doomhide Gaunlets. So, If there are any 'less difficult' FR wrists and gloves to get, pls advise.
So, I need advise really on... Gloves Wrist Legs
...Pre-MC.

You have a few more problems with your list, just FYI: Molten Helm, Corehound Boots, Lava Belt: All require cores from MC, which are hard to come by, and not lightly given out by raids.
However, its hard to get good FR for these slots. There is a belt from the 3rd boss in strat with +20 FR, and you can get the Volcanic Helm with +20 FR. Neck you can get your Onyxia Key from the Warlord's Command quest line. You can get pretty good wrists from stealth runs to Incendius in BRD (I got mine with +10 agi + 10 sta as their random modifier, so that worked out nicely).

You can farm the money to buy the cores too.
Its possible, just might take a little while.

Purlop,
If you put in some good effort towards your FR gear, by the time your MC raid is ready to take on Ragnaros, they'll be willing to give you the FR items you need.
Blue FR pieces are really all you need before Ragnaros.

Purlop has left Legacy of the Void, I believe to join EoD. I'd be able to say for sure, but he quit without saying a word that I saw. . I know we had warning on the site, but I thought he was enjoying more runs with us lately. Whatever. Is it so much to ask that people say "bye, its been real" when they decide to leave? I dunno, I think of pretty much everyone in Legacy as someone I'd be sorry to see go, its kind of a slap in the face to everyone in the guild to just /gquit and walk away without a word. Unless you're me, and you're just doing it to freak everyone out and you come right back EDIT: Unless I'm completely off my nut and I just missed him saying good bye, in which case, my apologies Purlop.

Well, lets see. The time finally came to "shit or get off the pot". So, after logging in to find the Ony run happening then to see those that stayed on roll right into another alt leveling event, I concluded enough is enough. There isnt a place here for me. Feeling like ya rate less than the last kid picked for a game of dodge ball goes only so far. LotV, as I posted before, good core group, but there is an utter and total lack of guild interaction. I post ideas for guild runs or intance runs, I ask in game when I log in, and I see again and again, Razor groups (ie that core LotV membership) roll together whether in high end instances OR ALT RUNS of some sort. The fact that I play on an off schedule to members is a BS reason. I can see people grouping up after runs and doing shit while Im logged in. Taht night opening up the guild page to see alts running WC right after Ony is a common thing to see. There is NO interaction in the guild besides 1) forums 2) TS. That's it. I play 6-7 days a week with about 4-5 hours a night and I can say for a fact that before that SC Glove stealth run, they last time I was able to drum up support for anything, I was L51...the shanker run. The fact that I 'fell' into that tribute run was a shocker, believe me. Truly a sad state that Ive been with LotV for the length of time I have been and I spend 95% of my time with non LotV folks. It's a a game that takes team work, of which, Im getting dribs and drabs for voiders. Maybe its just me, but it's very apparent in LotV where my place is... second string.

Damn Pur, didint really take you for such a Whiner, have fun in your 2am epic runs! Hope you get lots of Lootzor, and maby if you SAY something about the crap that bothers you instead of bitching about in in the forums. I am glad that you feel the need to look down upon us, for not doing TONS of runs with you that we get not a thing out of. You cannot fault us for not feeling like talking a substandard rouge on runs that we have no reason to go on.
Have a good time.

Oh, for the record, I do NOT look down on LotV. I think Ive stated my admiration of the guild enough, so I dont know WTF that attitude is coming from, Stomp.

Stomp is all about attitude Pur I'm sorry you felt you had to go, and I do wish you luck. I did feel slighted since you left without saying a word to your guildies who were online at the time. In parting, my advice is simply this: do not poke the bear.

Turn the tables Pur, if you were starting BWL, and had already did ALL the runs that you wanted to do, and you could GET nothing out of it. Would you want to help someone at like 3am, when he cant even get a party together?

Turn the tables Pur, if you were starting BWL, and had already did ALL the runs that you wanted to do, and you could GET nothing out of it. Would you want to help someone at like 3am, when he cant even get a party together? Um, Stomp. This has all been covered in previous threads, but thanks for chiming in. I'll bottom line it for ya since this is the first one you posted on. 1) Hmm...Im way behind the core group. 2) Hmm... There arent enough others in LotV to really get a solid group going. We flounder like fish out of water just trying to get a 5-man team cooking 3) Hmm...Now the main core of lotv are leveling alts, too, so my once in awhile grouping with LotV is now even more rare. 4) Hmm...I need to find a guild at my level in the game because nothing is going on for me in LotV regardless of my efforts. /finally says "time to go like I said weeks back but figured I'd hang out with the guild in the meantime" hence the expression "shit or get off the pot" /gquit /hands the bear poking stick for McG to hold Those Lotv that posted/read my previous threads can confirm the above cliff notes.
