It's been brought to my attention that a lot of the community of Legacy that I've experienced is primarily with the other high level players. So I know a lot about their experience in the guild and how it compares to mine. Where I'm ignorant, however, is about what being in Legacy is like for those of you who haven't hit "high-level" status yet.
I'm wondering if perhaps you all are feeling a bit left out. I imagine some of you stick around because you're looking forward to participating in high level content with us. What I would fear is that your mid-level content and participation in the guild is not meeting expectations. I was fortunate enough to level up at the same time as our highest players, so I never experienced being outside the high-level player circle. I'd hate for the Legacy experience to be one where players work mostly on their own and in pickup groups up to 55, when they can finally start joining all-guild raids/parties.
So I'm curious: do you feel like a part of the guild? Do you feel the same sense of community that I do? I ask because I honsestly don't know, and I would like to be able to improve the experience of all my fellow guildmates as much as possible. So: if you need someone for a group, I'm happy to lend a hand whenever possible. I have a priest alt at lvl 35 who'd be happy to heal for any of you in that range, and a 33 hunter who can help as well. My rogue is 54 if you need some damage, and Prune can help tank if needed as well. I prefer to offer chars of mine that are appropriate to the level of the instance if at all possible.
Maybe it isn't an issue at all, I don't know. I think pickup groups are valuable experiences to have, because you get to learn how to play your class well, as well as see other classes play well or poorly. But I also appreciate the value of running an instance with an organized party that knows what they're doing.
In conclusion, let me know what I can do to help out.
