you can max your level pretty quickly in GW. Level cap is 20. However, what people say about WoW "starting" at 60 is even more true for GW. It isn't until level 20 that you really start to do some of the more interesting stuff in the game. Also, "respeccing" is free, but time limited, so if you get bored with your build it's pretty easy to change.
That having been said, I do seem to be in the minority with regards to liking the game... and in all honesty I don't play it very often at all. WoW just eats up so much of my time...
