Alright, let's get some PvP on the go this week. My last exam is on wednesday morning, there is usually HGA stuff on the go wednesday nights, so how about thursday? I'd like to get as many 60s as possible (sorry everyone else, but I can't play out side my own bracket ) online at around 5pm server time. If that isn't good for people, just say. Since BG pickup groups tend to be pretty easy to fill out, I saw we go ahead no matter how many or few show up. What say you?

I'm definitely hungry for some guild PvP action. But I'll be in the field from the 14th to the 28th. So I'll have to join you all when I get back. In the meantime, I'll see if I can't get Jakani to 60 so I can have a viable PvP player to bring. I'd rather not respec Prune just yet.

Yeah, same story as Aph here, I'll be a little later then that, but it'd be nice to see how the LotV crew could hold up. I'm getting used to losing, so it would be nice to actually win again. .

Alright, couple of things to say. First off, rotten, I know you read these boards, if you cold get your boys in on this too, that'd be super cool. Now, drawing up strategy. For the sake of this plan I will assume we get a full group of 15. I think four groups of 4, 4, 4, and 3 is a good arrangement. I've been in a couple of games that crushed the competition with that grouping. Groups 1, 2, and 3 (the ones with four people in them ) should run to Mill, Smith and Mine, while group 4 holds back at the Farm to support whichever of the other groups meets resistance. If one of Mill, Smith or Mine are zerged, move on to Stables. Assuming we hold Mill, Smith, Mine and Farm I don't feel a particular need to push on to the Stables. Holding 4-1 will result in a 2000-500 victory. When a node is attacked, should the attacking force appear too large to deal with call for support. Two from group 3 and one from the nearest other point (if calling from Smith, that's the Mill) should move to support. If it's going to be really tough, call for heavy support. All of group 3, two from nearest should move to support. Two from furthest move to farm to defend while group 3 is away. If zerged, abandon the point and hit the stables, hard. Full group from the zerged point, one each from the other two main groups, and two from group 3. Should we ever hold a different arrangement of nodes treat the node furthest from the "line" as the farm and arrange accordingly. In the event that we are easily holding our four points, we hit the stables. Two from each group move forward and pound them into the dirt. If the Farm is attacked during this, one each from Mill, Smith and Mine fall back to defend. We will decide before the match who will be the "runners" in each group should assistance need to be rendered. Naturally, those with better mounts will make better runners. If you have any problems with this, or want to make a suggestion, please say so. I apologise that non-60s will be unable to partake in AB with us, but there isn't much I can do about that. If we can get people together we can run AV next weekend, though I have no experience in there at all. I just know the bracket is 51-60 or somesuch.

ty for the invite vithigar
for stradegy, in my experience either the mine or lm get zerged at outset, usually lm as it gives a good vantage point
when i form a grp i arrange it so:
group 1: bs (should be 5 guys) group 2and 3: lm (should be at least 7 guys) group 4 (2 ppl): farm
while many strads have worked well i find this one very safe the ally dont zerg the bs at start because they know we can reach it first if they zerg the mines and do not find us there they will move to the farm, meanwhile we have secured 3 and the lm group will push to the st or go back to the farm
i was wondering if you guys would like to run this mondays too that is the busiest pvp night of the week

Blah, I hate PvP, it just the same as anyother thing I do (stand back and heal), exept that you cant draw aggro off a player, so I tend to die alot, but I willl be up for anything, esecialy if everyone is going, but if you guys get a full group, you might want to leave me out, I usally die the most and kill the least. . .

hey stomp, funny as this may sound but ab is not about killing my groups do better when i die a lot, sacrafice myself by holding the attention of 3-4 guys who are anxious for the deathstroke
in wsg you would be the most important man as druids are default flag carriers
in ab your role would not be to just heal; do what you are good at, if thats attacking then attack, if healing then heal
i dont do high lvl instance runs because im not specced to be a tank and would have only moderate success as such
when you get 15 guys doing what they do best its hard to beat them

That sounds about right rotten. I DO like seeing my self near (or at) the top for killing blows, but it seems that those games are ones we are losing bad.
Typically when I win in Ab, I am near the bottom on kills cause I will be defending a node that only gets three attacks the whole game. But I LOVE to defend. Nothing better then having a rogue try to sneak in, then backstab me for a whopping 350. I then proceed to show him the meaning of HORDE! Soul Link for the win!
In short, I like PvP, but cant grind on it like many people. I think about 50K honor in a week is my max. Although that might change if we start running as a group.

Yeah, I could try that, when I'm not working late. Hard to alt tab out of a battle ground to get work done.
