Ok, figured I had to share this with ya'll. It seems I just give off the scent of dork or something.
So I am sitting here in this office at Lockheed. This lady, about 50 or so, comes in to jump on a conference call. Once its over she sticks around and starts commenting about my laptop. Its a Dell 9300, and for those that dont know, thats a freaking huge laptop. She tells me its a true desktop replacement, cause it is the size of one. I just kinda smile and say yeah.
Then, with NO other transition what so ever, the very next words out of her mouth, "Have you ever heard of a game called World of Warcraft?" WTF? Do I just give off that kinda vibe or what.
Well I guess she just bought a laptop to play the game because she was afraid people would get personal info off her desktop. So she has nothing on her laptop but the game. I thought, ok, kinda silly, but thats pretty cool that she likes the game so much that she would buy a new computer to play it. Goes to show you the power of this game across all ages. I asked what server she played on. "A level 5 druid."
Well, we were all nubs once...

Well, that just goes to show that "everyone" plays WoW. I've been talking to people at work about it who definately don't seem like they would play, but they do.

It just occurred to me, she bought a whole separate system to play WoW after leveling to Level 5. I mean, that takes 2 hours, TOPS? Talk about impulse buying.
