farmed sm all weekend and in my own humble opion the drops at the gy have greatly improved
ive farmed sm for a long time and would receive a blue boe every couple of weeks or so.....this week i rec'd about 6 blue boe's!!!
who do they drop from? HA! everyone! elites, non-elites, and chests!
i sell them on avg at the ah for about 8g even though they r valued for more by allah
also saw at ah today the arcanite reaper going for 500g (not good...hoped it would be higher, much higher, as i hope to put up the champ for 800)
------
arcanite champion status:
need 3 arcanite bars (should be in the mail from buddies) 7 enchanted leather (will buy from the ah, about 3-4g each)

ran sm 3x last nite but cleared almost all of my inventory before doing so....ran the cathedral once solo, died once due to adds but basically ran thru it quick.....result: went from 36s to 37g, then made another 20g from the blue boe's i sent to my ah mule, not a bad nite's profit
put in bids for many enchanted leathers, arcanite bars, truesilver, mithril, stones, and other types of mats before the server went down

ummmm....what to say....how to say.....
I SOLD THE ARCANITE CHAMP FOR 800G JUST AS I WAS GETTING READY TO FORGE IT, NO AH!!!!!
WOOT WOOT WOOT
so...i sold it to a lvl 52 warrior by the name of krankanx (something like that)
sent money to: mcguirk zrog malthorn smushy mickaill
also forged a phantom blade which will go to the ah fri
so...should i run sm and finish getting the money for my epic? or start working on another champ? or just make smaller stuff like the phantom blade which sells well...
the "quest" ended so fast i have to admit im in a little bit of shock...

Thats sweet rotten! GRATS.
If I were you I would make the smaller stuff to get the money for the mount, since another champ might take a while. Stupid 2 day cooldowns.
Then once you get the mount, start work on another.
Again, GRATS!

a mount is uber looking but does not do much for me...save money for better armors and such?
im not sure i want an epic...that would make me be broke again...(900g, ouch)

Rottenheart,
My opinion is... you will never have a better chance to get your epic mount.
Yeah, you'll be broke again, but I think you'll find the speed increase when traveling VERY handy and wonder how you ever got along without it, AND it's VERY hard otherwise to save that kind of cash... at least it is for me!
The other thing I suppose you could do is spend half the money on mats for ANOTHER Arcanite Champion, and sell IT for 800g... effectively investing 400g or so and having 1200g afterwards (assuming you can sell the Champ for that much again!).
... or perhaps you could use the money to get 800+ bars of Dark Iron, and start working to get your Thorium Brotherhood rep up to Revered so you could make the Blackguard sword... (not recommended, though - most people who actually get this kind of rep have huge help from their rather-large guilds).

hmm...im not sure about that "never have a better chance" comment...if we r going to be running mc or zg soon then i hope to get some boe epics that i can sell for mucho money
i think the best thing to do for now is make small stuff and finish some quests, take a break from sm...

Rottenheart,
I seriously doubt that anyone who gets a BOE epic in a large raid will be able to sell it... if you don't EQUIP the epic IMMEDIATELY, I think there would be some very angry people around. Otherwise, ANY epics will probably go to someone who would use it. I can't imagine having to Greed roll an epic in such a large raid...
Yeah, with your grinding-for-money skills, I think you could come by the 900g much more easily than I...

That's a very good idea... gold is VERY easily and quickly spent...
I remember buying that Champ pattern for 50g, and then when I passed it onto you for 50g, that money was gone about 1/2 hour later, when I spent it on Dark Iron ore...

Rotten not only is the epci mount good for many things such as, pvp, running from mobs...u look so much cooler then every1 else. Yuo dont know how many ppl have made comments about it (one from jakebull saying his purple one made mine look gay but...) ....saying its awsome. Id highly recomend it. Ive seen that its very hard to get up to that much money in a long run...when u get it all at once its right there rdy to buy that epic...this is your chance. Besides only lke 2 ppl in the guild have one .

Thats a bummer that you had to leave something alive. It was cool to sign on and see 5 people on in Uld. Guild instance runs FTW.
