in truth i had meant to get flurry but miscalculated when allocating my pts (/bonk)
i have not used dw yet in bg, still rocking with 2h or causing havoc with 1h
i think at first glance the build looks wrong but it is working well for me so far, i skipped many of the normal mob control talents as they dont apply in bg or make only marginal difference.....also, last nite marks the first time that i consistently had more kills than deaths
i manufacture rage like crazy and was a one-man-wrecking crew last nite
example:
last nite i went toe-to-toe 3x with a lieutenant-commander warrior (microburst, ranked #17), beat him the first time (with help at the end) and had his homo-NE buttrun from me the 2nd and 3rd fight...he ran from me! a lowly 1st sarg...hahahahaha!!!
my thinking behind this build is: kill one guy, the guy in front of u, make sure he cant get away, finish him fast
last nite i ran about 9 games of bg with me as the leader of the last 5 or so...we kicked ass, major ass
of the 5 i was leading we only lost the last one to uber alliance grp (still did not do badly)
stradegy:
cap the flag for blacksmith, farm, lumber mills as they are in plain sight of each other and easy to support quickly
hold the 3 positions and build some lead, this of course pisses off the alliance who is busy running around trying to tap 4 usually to begin with and find themselves usually sending too few to a guarded position
after beating back a position we would then push another and either hold it easy or at least tap-and-go to disrupt them
we would not fight in the open, only near flags
we would call the zerg
we would announce when we see incoming forces to any position, not just when we needed help and indicate how many, and also announce when a position was defended and no more guys were needed
we would not leave a flag unguarded
all the guys were listening to orders as they saw the stradegy worked (rare)...it was beautiful
we were doing so well the guys were joking that we should do av...it all seemed so simple when everyone was working together
the first couple of games were close but by the last few we had time to farm hk's as our lead was so big that defending the flag was moot
earned 50k honor in 3 days of play this week which should put me at about 115k for the week if i keep up this pace....which brings me to the question: can u advance 2 ranks in one week?
